I didn't distort anything you said. I made a point that a lot of people are properly choosing to look at one side of it. There is more than one factor. I just happened to bring it up.
You said they level of play went beyond talent. All I said was that first and foremost it does in fact start with talent... THEN you can go from there. But all of the culture and mindset in the world doesn't matter if the talent isn't there.
They didn't work magic with a bunch of scrubs. They improved the OL first by flat out no question getting better players. Then they made sure the unit was trained properly and could gel on the field.
Overall point here... It will be easier for the current coach and future coaches to produce good lines when the talent level is way up. Which it still is. We've got some more NFL guys. And we're recruiting well for the future. Nothing about Grimes could make Yeck a great OL. Talent matters first.
