Liver enzymes, Bilirubin, Alk Phos and Albumin levels normal?

I knew someone that the GI doctor never diagnosed what was going on, but then they went on a super simple and plain diet for 4 weeks and felt a lot better. it ended up that they had a really hard time with red meats, donuts, and any processed foods that were super high fat content . . . Never found out an exact reason.
