Discipline with food was key
I found that straight cutting things out like sugar or caffeine was not the path for me, I like dessert too much. I just ate much smaller portions of dessert and carbs and loaded up on vegetables and lean proteins. But yeah, diet was key, I had exercised in the past without changing diet too much and did not have great results.
