Intriguing; not sure this would work, but it's at least thinking outside the box
So the idea is that the Sun Belt basically sells their G5 status to BYU so that BYU can use the G5 auto-bid to get into an NY6 game, while explicitly stating they're not G5.
And the Sun Belt would presumably get the conference payout for an NY6 game instead of BYU keeping it all?
