That's just it, you are going off of "data" you found on the internet.
That just isn't correct. I know how this sounds, but trust me. BYU gets a lot more money from their deal with ESPN than you think. BYU had more to offer than just football.

The SEC was getting ~43 million. ESPN taking over the lone CBS game is giving them a 20mm bump to 60+.
