a possibility of being rejected and found to be inadequate or not as good as someone else. For many of us it is super uncomfortable to talk about ourselves.....feels insincere and phony. There is the possibility of saying or doing something stupid and feeling embarrassed.

That probably about covers it. I agree, interviews of any kind make me super anxious and are one of my absolute least favorite things.
