at this point in my career I don't want to take stress/hassle. I'm interviewing
them as much as they are interviewing me because I won't take it unless it's a perfect fit. They need to sell themselves and their company TO ME as much as me to them. Some recruiters have been shocked when I've declined 2nd interviews or offers even.
with that said, I feel all the things the OP said. Sucks being judged.
