"testing" candidates in tech is the worst. The best interviews I've had have been where I have open conversations
with the hiring managers and team. My abilities can be analyzed with a take-home project that gives me the freedom to demonstrate that I can complete a task with a given set of requirements, just like a real programming job would have.
