Amen. It is straight up cruel to withhold these resources from your end of life family members.
Some people get delusional about fixing unfixable problems in their 90 year old meemaw. Her back is never going to stop having arthritis, her kidneys aren’t going to magically start working, her mind isn’t going to come back, her heart isn’t going to start pumping better again, and those decubitus ulcers are never going to heal. Accept it. Treat the discomfort those things cause.
