Having watched my father die, and the love that the hospice nurse showed, I
can't imagine anyone turning down hospice. That nurse was AMAZING and on call 24/7. If there were meds needed, they delivered them to our door. When my dad died, my mom called the hospice nurse first, then my brother and me. She came and set up the mortuary, hugged my mom. She even showed up to the funeral. I'll happily pay my taxes for that service.
