We had to have a very long discussion with my father that not putting a feeding tube in my mother did not mean we were
killing her. Or that my father-in-law deciding to no longer eat about 9 days before his death, that he was NOT committing suicide. Allowing people to die is not killing them. Extending that process is not something I want done for me.
