So it seems like she probably knew for a bit. Also she looked terrible on the qualifications and was being given an easy ride by the judges because of who she is

In qualifiers three US gymnasts did the exact same vault, including Biles. She scored higher despite an error.

Yeah, she had several egregious errors but still had the best score in almost every event.
