I always thought about it in terms of "hot and cold." So, I learned to identify that the first move for those crazy chicks is to warm up to you big time. Very affectionate, very attentive, big bright eyes that are just feasting on you, telling you how impressed they are by you and how great you are. It's intoxicating, and it always comes right after you did something (score a touchdown, give a good talk in church) in some way demonstrated power.

Then, without warning, and for no reason I was ever able to figure out, they FLIP. THE. SWITCH., and you're the devil. How dare you this, I can't believe you would ever that, what kind of a person would the other. Your head spins and you feel like your own dog just lured you into a trap and bit you.

Your analysis is almost triggering me. I literally got chills remembering some of these girls. I think you're right.
