Was in Omaha, NE for business a few years ago which is on the border with Iowa

While I was there, I noticed that the wind seemed to always be blowing from the west about 5-10mph. So I asked one of the locals about it. Their response was that, "it's not that the wind always blows, it's just that Iowa sucks". Couldn't help but remember that exchange reading this post.
