Reminds me of when a Catholic relative (in an attempt to tarnish my religion) pointed out to me a newspaper article that mentioned a sexual misconduct situation involving a church member. It was literally a few weeks before the massive Catholic priest abuse stuff started to explode. There was absolutely no need for me to point that out to her after that. It was way too obvious. This Iowa state thing is kinda the same thing.
