Not really. Most of my BYU alumni friends are great and usually complimentary
of BSU. We get along great and usually have a friendly bet on the game. Something like having to wear the other school's gear for a week or take the other person to lunch. It's all in good fun.

I've just never cared for BYU and I really dislike the idea that to be a good LDS church member you have to root for BYU. I've had enough interactions with "BYU superfan" at BSU football and basketball games to last me a lifetime. That's where the arrogance and condescending attitudes are on full display.

Honestly, my friends are embarrassed to be associated with that crowd.

That's not to say that we don't have our share of knuckleheads at BSU, because every fanbase does. But I've had very good interactions with Oklahoma fans, Louisville fans, TCU fans, Oregon fans, UW fans, etc.

The biggest jerk fanbases I have interacted with have been - UofI, BYU, Utah and Reno.
