I disagree. He calls BYU average, average would have us ranked around 65
we finished 11 last year and were up to 10 this year with a good chance to still be top 25 by years end. That's well above average.
Our recruiting rankings are around 70 so according to that our talent and depth is average. We pay our coaches below average also.
So what gives? Any unbiased observer would say it's a combination of both our coaches and players outperforming their competition, and not by a little but a lot.
