Could you take a look at my post below? My pain is mostly in the back of my heel
after running and jumping. It’s not very painful at all when I wake up or when I’m just walking around but when there’s high impact I really feel it. I’ve gotten in a bad habit of not buying shoes for a long time to save a buck. The last couple months the pain has started to linger for several days after running. I recognize now is the time to change habits before they get worse. I just bought a pair of ASICS Kayano for running. Is it pretty important to have a pair for running, a pair for walking, a pair for basketball, and a pair for tennis? Those are my preferred sports. Also, I have a slight arch, but when my foot is on the ground it presses flat.

Also what footwear would be good for deadlifting/squatting? Is barefoot okay for that?
