Interesting take considering most runners avoid heel striking. So my advice to
A person in this situation would be to adjust your running style to avoid heel striking. That would be accomplished by adjusting their body to a more forward position, smaller steps and less knee lift. Making sure the kick doesn't get too far in front of the body.

I don't discredit you experience but this is pretty common knowledge among professional runners and the running community as a whole?

As a foot doc what are you thoughts on this?
