2007 they lost to Mizzou in the Big12 championship and ended up playing VA Tech in the orange bowl. They went 8-5 the following year, 5-7 in 2009, and have failed to surpass 3 wins since then…

Stanford beat Iowa in the rose bowl 45-16 (2016), played Michigan State in the rose in 2014, beat Wisconsin in the rose in 2013.
