We've been pretty good at that. This defense isn't designed to be at the top of a lot of statistical categories. It is designed to limit points which it has been pretty good at when reasonably healthy. Look at the first several games this year against some respectable offenses.

Is it my favorite defense to watch. No. But I trust the coaches know their personnel 1M times better than I do and would change the scheme if they had the personnel to do it. Think about Kalani's background with the great d-lines at Utah. He would force Tuiaki to do some things differently if we had the personnel. Our d-line talent right now is not where it needs to be.

Now, you could argue guys don't want to come because of the scheme...chicken or egg??? But we are getting some more dudes starting next year, so we'll see.
