I'm seriously afraid this is true.

Is there any other fan base that elicits such strong negative emotions?
USC isn't chanting F*** the Catholics when they play Notre Dame. Why is that?
Is it that we as Latter-Day Saints are so reviled that they attack...our sports teams?

I do think that Cougar fans have an inflated persecution complex, and are quick to claim everyone is out to get us.
Yet, it feels more than simple jealousy of BYU's success. It's uglier - on both sides.
