This reminds me of a time when I heard Paul James say that it’s a bad sign if
Your safeties are making tackles. It just so happened for the next couple years we had a safety that was a really good tackler and the defense funneled through him because of that. He was almost like another linebacker.
Every call in show there would be multiple people say well it’s not good if your safeties are leading the teams in Tackles, right, LaVelle?
What a joke
You can’t take situational statistics out of context and prove anything on defense. It works better on offense but it’s still not foolproof there.
