Don't trust the stats showing the defense was bad against the run against the two merely above average opponents BYU played while Pili was still health? And don't trust my eyes that that for years has been telling me BYU's defense is too simple, too conservative, and too soft against the run?
Just trust your hand-waving and your eye-test that you're right, without any stats or other meaningful analysis to back up your assertion? Give me a break. Either bring something substantial to the discussion or don't bother responding.
