If you adjust the rushing yards by removing sacks and kneel downs —
Arizona was 31/129 = 4.16 yards per carry
Utah was 22/203 = 9.23 yards per carry
Arizona St. was 31/174 = 5.61 yards per carry
South Florida was 47/175 = 3.72 yards per carry
Utah St. was 32/47 = 1.47 yards per carry
Boise St. was 41/152 = 3.71 yards per carry
Baylor was 44/306 = 6.95 yards per carry
Washington St. was 21/104 = 4.95 yards per carry
Virginia was 24/221 = 9.21 yards per carry
Georgia Southern was 37/146 = 3.95 yards per carry
USC was 44/210 = 4.77 yards per carry
UAB was 39/237 = 6.08 yards per carry
For the season (not counting Idaho St) was 413/2,104 = 5.09 yards per carry. So even at the beginning of the season BYU was not good at stopping the run. They were bad throughout the whole year.
