A couple of months ago we were on the receiving end of a dog
that was aggressive towards it's previous family's toddlers. It is a mini ausiedoodle. We do not have toddlers and it has fit in very well with our 8 and 13 year old. We all love him and anticipate he will be a member of our family his whole life. He has needed training on a few things (including playful nipping at us while running and playing) and being patient with our 8 year old when she picks him up and flops him around. But he is a great fit for our older family.

Because he is a purebred 'doodle' mix we agreed to pay a $500 'rehoming' costs to the previous owners. And wow, we love that he doesn't shed a bit!

You should have no problem finding a home for your dog, but make sure you are absolutely honest about its history of aggressiveness with toddlers.
