The dog bit a 3 year old in the face and left a deep gash. You don’t rehome that dog.
Once a dog has resorted to biting the odds of it happening again have increased.
It’s a problem dog and rehoming it is just passing that problem onto somebody else.
If that dog is mine and it can’t be trusted around kids there is no way I am keeping it and no way I am passing it onto somebody else.
I would have it euthanized.
