incident at the baseball park last year while my kid was playing. A family at another game was there with some friends and their dog, just enjoying the game. Im not sure of the breed, but I think it was a pretty common non pit-bull/rotty family dog. One of the little kids from the other family did something that set the dog off and it clamped down on the kid and would not let go. It took multiple men some time to release the dog. Ambulance had to come for the kid and had several stitches with multiple large gashes, the cops took the dog to be put down. Dogs are no longer allowed at the games. The parents said the dog never showed any kind of aggression before. Apparently, they had some jerky or something like that and were passing it around and it set the dog off. Knowing your dog has already shown aggression is a huge red flag, you've been warned. Scares me to death as a dog owner, so we really try to keep ours away from other people and especially young kids.
