I'm surprised how much lingering (albeit small) dissonance I had about the whole Burgess Reid thing (I was disappointed Burgess didn't come), but, moreso some animus about Reid and his final year there with its controversy and his style.

But, it sure seems small when you look at it years later. And, in fact, in any case Reid did try hard and wanted BYU to succeed. Same with Burgess... he eventually got it right, right? 🙂
