Eat whatever, etc. Fitness isn’t just something people have and others don’t. It takes time, effort, and sacrifice. Putting fat people on the covers of fitness mags and pretending that’s fit, or saying that some people must bear the cross of being overweight, cheapens the work and achievement of those that take the time to figure out how to be fit. It’s the ultimate crabs in a bucket type thinking.
It also perpetuates a lie and creates a feeling of powerlessness and despair in those that haven’t figured it out. People need to be shown that they control that aspect of their lives. They have power over it. It’s not some permanent condition.
I work hard to be the weight and in the condition I’m in. Don’t cheapen it by saying I was just born like this because I most certainly wasn’t.
