History... and you DON'T want to go to Germany??? wut?
What city has a more interesting history than Berlin? From Prussia, and the German Empire, to the Nazis, the East/West Berlin. The history is much more interesting than anywhere else.
No disrespect to other European cities, but Amsterdam's history was like "we were cool in the Renaissance, and Van Gogh was pretty neat too"
