When I go to Europe, because I've been many times, I usually hop around a bit. So I look for cheaper (and more comfortable) flights to cities I want to visit or nearby. Sometimes I'll fly into a city for a day (e.g.:London) visit for a few hours and then get to where I really wanted to go. And often I'll get open-jaw flights, flying into one city and out of another.
