For 1, it’s been discussed before, but it would be quite the logistical headache to widen NBA courts, so I’m not sure how practical it is. Alternatively, I’ve heard the idea pitched that home teams can determine their 3 point line distance.

For 3, I would just get rid of the preseason altogether and lengthen the regular season for more rest.

For 6, I think that would incentive tanking by middle tier teams. I think stacking the odds in favor of the worst records to some degree is still needed. I like how it is right now.

One more idea: I would narrow the paint back to what it used to be to encourage more post up game.
