Many are still in denial.

Seeing a lot of people that believe this is just a momentary pit stop before housing continues it's journey to the moon.

I know more than a few homeowners that are banking big on their equity rising dramatically again (bought outside their budget, heloc, etc.) and refuse to accept any sort of decline is possible.
