Becoming a fighter pilot is extremely competitive in any branch. They all
Basically have their pick of officers within the branches when choosing pilots. So not really much separating them. Maybe If someone really wants to be a pilot, they are more likely to choose Air Force but that doesn’t make them a better pilot.
The Marines do have a different way of selecting pilots, they do it so that their most talented officers don’t all choose to be pilots.
