It might happen but not for a while. I just don't see how you can create 2 conferences now that would essentially
prevent all of the ACC teams from joining.
If we go to 2 conferences it will happen when the ACC teams can join.

Maybe but I think that is still several more years away. And a 16 team playoff could change conversations fast.
