1- Places to stay; As mentioned above Grand America is nice, but it is also the priciest. Other nice hotels, that are not as pricey; City Center Marriott which is nicer than the Downtown Marriott, AC Hotel, Hotel Monaco, And Little America, but only if you are in the Tower Rooms. There are three Bars in Downtown SLC that also have really good food; Whiskey Street/White Horse, 2 bars right next to each other that share a kitchen, very good food; Lake Effect, also has very good food; Gracie's has very good food. Being in your late 20's you should enjoy the atmosphere at all 3.

2-Corner of the End Zone is exactly what you would expect.
