Going to 18 teams, with 7 of them being from the West, makes little sense...

there is not enough money in the west to generate a quality TV contract. Adding Arizona St. Oregon, Washington with BYU is more than enough western teams that add value. Adding Arizona, Utah, Colorado just adds more mouths to feed with little value gained. The BIG12 doesn't need to expand for the sake of expanding... value has to be there.
