I've been working with impoverished people my whole career. There is no doubt in my mind that the number one determining

factor for a child's success in life is

1. Two parents at home.

2. The education level of the parents

3. The income level of the family

However, race is a huge factor in determining the all three of those things. Not inherent, but culturally, and part of the reason for that is due to the American government and racism. So, yeah, I'm okay with helping out minorities.
