The game was designed to pit two teams against one another on the field
to determine supremacy by score.
Scoreboard determines supremacy in football.
Doubt me? Read the rulebook, the ultimate defining authority for the game of football.
So what if Two teams didn’t play and you’re trying to determine supremacy? Ok. Turn to other machinations of the imagination like opinions, votes, and polls. You might name the stronger team but it wasn’t determined by the game of football but by something else.
If the teams actually played against one another, then according to the ultimate authority, the rulebook, one team stands as the winner, the better team, and the other is the loser.
Im not interested in anything other than the scoreboard; Anything else is up for debate.
