That’s why it’s silly to judge teams based on a small sample of games. If you simply watched Utah with your eyeballs in those first 4 games vs the last 8 games or whatever it was, you would hardly recognize them. Not recognizing that teams can change or improve just shows ignorance or laziness.

But that’s what good coaching and player development and leadership gets you.

And thankfully, the CFP committee, who watches games and looks with an objective eye, was there to properly judge Utah at the end of the season.
