Read the quote - thanks for clarifying. We know this though? Nothing new? It’s the same reason B12 added BYU and the 3 other schools - OK and TX left. The point is…they could have added BYU and Colorado, or any other two schools (their first choice was OK/TX and a couple other B12 schools).

All Utah wanted, after two BCS bowl wins in 4 years, and as the FiRST BCS buster, and last non-P5 school to beat Alabama, was a chance to play with the big boys. And we got that shot. Take away our two BCS seasons and that shot isn’t there - someone else would have gotten that spot.
