As I’ve grown older I’ve come to understand people who leave more and more
There are a lot of aggravating aspects of the church, particularly the culture. Despite my love for the sports teams and my professors, I found the culture at BYU itself to be kind of stuffy sometimes. I’ve stuck around, but I get why people leave and don’t fault them.. but it makes me happy to see many people keep their love for the cougs even after they move on from the other aspects of that part of their life. It’s awesome having people from all walks of life cheering on the teams.
