This happened in Tucson about 6 or 7 years ago.
The ZonaZoo did the same exact chant. The AD got on the stadium intercom, and told the student section they’d be removed if it didn’t stop.
It stopped right away. The starting Middle linebacker for U of A was a Returned Missionary. Larson was his name… the AD reminded them of that. I appreciated that.
Stanford, and many of these PAC 10.2 schools do these type Mormon chants when we play them. The AD’s and Stadium authorities should nip it in the bud, quickly. No room for religious bigotry…. Just like there’s no room racism.

I had literally the opposite experience. All day long fans went out of their way to be super friendly to us.
