There were two Wyoming fans sitting directly in front of us. USU was winning and playing well. We were cheering for the Aggies and having fun watching a good game. I knew the reputation of WY fans well so we were careful not to do anything that would rile them up. We only cheered FOR the Aggies, never said or did anything that could be considered rooting AGAINST Wyoming. Out of the blue the guy in front of me turned around and quite literally grabbed me by the throat and told me if I didn't shut up he would knock me out. Fortunately the guy I was with, who ran a concrete construction company, was pretty physically imposing. He calmly grabbed the guy's hand, got him off me, and told the WY dude in no uncertain terms to back off or he wouldn't be awake to watch the rest of the game. That was the end of it, we watched the rest of the game in peace, the Aggies won easily, and the two 'pokes skulked away halfway thru the 2nd half. Fun times.
