I thought I would check it out for myself, after reading your post. Holy crap, that is hilarious and like a car accident I couldn’t stop looking at. Talk about a bunch of delusional, elaborate story telling, BYU hating, obsessed nuts. I honestly laughed so hard at how the few logical Wyoming fans would try to explain to them that a buyout of a contract is not dishonest or unethical, but they are convinced that if BYU pays the Laramie buyout due to the Big 12, that BYU is in breach of the contract and they could take BYU to court if they felt like it.
They also feel that their AD is somehow doing BYU a huge favor by playing them, despite the fact that Wyoming does nothing for BYU’s strength schedule, money, or national exposure. It is a game being played out of tradition and to warm up against, for the bigger schools, that is better than Weber St, but not nearly the best G5 BYU even had on our schedule. They are having a decent season, which is good for both teams, but BYU only loses this game if they get arrogant and put in the Scout team in the first half.
