I spent 6 years living in Wyoming in Jr high and HS. There are plenty of db fans both on the BYU/Utah/Utah State side as well as Wyoming. I've attended games at all those places often sitting with visiting fans--my dad was a mellow Utah grad/fan who was there to cheer for his team--and I witnessed him/us take crap from people of all ages just for being there. They seemed to think it was funny to try and make visiting fans as uncomfortable as possible. Utah State was the worst we experienced--but I never did attend a Wyoming game in person (was way too far away)--but we all hear the horror stories there too. Like any good story, I'm sure it is embellished the more times it is told, but I don't doubt that they happened.
