Not really. These pop news reports are not accurately describing what the

underlying research really shows. Antidepressants have been proven better than placebo in multiple, high powered, RCTs. These science journalists don’t understand science; they are reporting on what is essentially an opinion piece by a researcher who strongly dislikes medications.
