We've known for a long time that therapies like CBT work better...
but medicine can be very helpful in acute cases to get someone stable so that therapy can work. But I do think it's a helpful reminder that medicine doesn't seem to be a very effective long-term solution for many cases (but as Dark Knight mentioned, depression cases are not all the same).
