I like KPop, but if he's that good, did anybody make a run at him at UVA? Also,
the fact that Bronco passed him over twice for a clown like Nick Howell, worries me a bit for a couple of reasons:
1) Maybe it was about Bronco's strange fondness for Howell, or maybe KPop wasn't that good. I dunno, but it doesn't help overcome concerns that he may not be the best coach available.
2) If he has so much fire and talent, then that should have overshadowed loyalty to Bronco; and he should have found new coaching opportunities when Howell was made DC. It just seems like once the Howell debacle was in place at UVA, serious coaching and mentoring from Bronco on KPop's behalf went away (admittedly, I am guessing there).
I think I'd be okay with him as LBs coach, but not as a DC, given his resume.
